Our impact

Eradicate Hate’s work to prevent all forms of hate-fueled violence has become more important than ever. Recent high-profile acts of political violence, hate crimes, religious-based violence, school place violence, and nihilistic violence all underscore the importance of coming together to forge practical solutions for these growing threats.

To meet this moment, we had one of our most impactful years yet, thanks to the support and contributions of our community. In 2025, we:

  • Engaged 88,000+ youth through UP End Hate and Student Summit programming
  • Trained 300 practitioners through seven Prevention Practitioners Network workshops and trainings
  • Welcomed more than 1,530 people to the Global Summit, who, together, forged more than 100 cross-sectoral partnerships thanks to the event
  • Reached people in 122 countries with our virtual platforms and initiatives
  • Appeared in more than 110 news stories about the Summit, our work, and prevention more broadly

While quantitative data demonstrates the measurable impact of our work, anecdotes from program participants highlight the hope and resilience fostered through Eradicate Hate. Our 2025 Impact Report shares these anecdotes and shows that when communities come together, real change is possible.

“The Eradicate Hate Global Summit, held in Pittsburgh, is the best gathering of persons in the world addressing hate... Professors, researchers, hate attack victims and survivors, former extremists, former FBI agents, government agencies, NGOs.. were amongst the hundreds of presenters and attendees participating in the 3-day forum.”
- 2025 Global Summit Attendee

“This work can be isolating. Eradicate Hate reminds you that others are fighting the same fight — and that sense of shared purpose matters.”
-Prevention Practitioners Network Advisory Committee Member

“It feels like we’re not just supervising behavior anymore—we’re seeing students take ownership of the kind of school they want to be part of.”
- School Administrator for one of the schools trained through UP End Hate

“Hearing issues that other schools encounter, similar to ours, validates that we’re all in this together. Sharing ideas of how to target issues opens up the conversation to reach our goal.”
- Youth participant at the Student Summit

“It was great to hear from practitioners from different disciplines and geographic areas to speak on their research and experience”
